Watercolour artworks are very susceptible to the elements, especially humidity and sunlight hence it is important that we take care

• The painting needs to be protected with glass framing and properly sealed at the back to avoid ingress of insects and dust.
• Avoid touching or handling the painting since stains on your hands as well as the natural oils from the skin will leave permanent marks and stains on the painting
• Hang the painting in an area that is not exposed to water. Avoid hanging in areas like the bathroom, kitchen or near aquariums.
• Avoid hanging in an area that is exposed to direct sunlight, as UV light can damage the pigments and cause the painting to fade.
