Cyanotype artworks last for several years as long they are kept away from direct sunlight 

• The painting needs to be protected with glass framing and properly sealed at the back to avoid ingress of insects and dust.
• Paintings can be stored in plastic sleeves if not displayed
• Avoid touching or handling the painting since stains on your hands as well as the natural oils from the skin will leave permanent marks and stains on the painting
• Hang the painting in an area that is not exposed to water. Avoid hanging in areas like the bathroom, kitchen or near aquariums.
• Avoid hanging in an area that is exposed to direct sunlight, as UV light can cause the colours to fade.
